Terms of Use

Last updated · May 28, 2026

1. Introduction

Welcome to Aparti. These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of our website, products, and services (“Services”), including Amie. By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. What Amie Is

Amie is an AI-guided document-preparation and general information tool. Amie is not a law firm, does not provide legal advice, does not represent users, and does not create an attorney-client relationship. Communications with Aparti/Amie are not protected by attorney-client privilege or attorney work product privilege.

3. No Legal Advice or Form-Selection Advice

Amie does not advise users about legal rights, remedies, defenses, options, strategies, or which forms they should use. Amie prepares documents based on user-provided information and the product scope selected.

4. User Responsibility and Court Requirements

You are responsible for reviewing all documents before filing and for deciding whether to consult a court self-help center or licensed attorney. We do not guarantee that a court will accept your documents or that your case will be completed. Court requirements vary, and some courts may require additional local forms or corrections.

5. AI Limitations

Amie may generate incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, or inapplicable information. You should review all outputs carefully and should not rely on Amie for legal decisions, strategy, or rights analysis.

6. Payment, Fees, and Excluded Costs

Fees are charged for document-preparation services and digital delivery. Court filing fees, service fees, notary fees, attorney fees, mediation fees, and third-party costs are not included. Unless otherwise stated at checkout, payment is due before document delivery.

7. Refunds

Refund eligibility, if any, is limited to the refund policy displayed at checkout and in these Terms. If documents have already been generated or delivered, refunds may be limited or unavailable, subject to applicable law.

8. SMS Communications

By entering your mobile number, you agree to receive text messages from Aparti/Amie related to your document-preparation request. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out. We do not send marketing texts without your consent.

9. User Content

You retain rights to information you submit. You grant us permission to use that information only as needed to provide, maintain, secure, support, and improve the Services, subject to our Privacy Policy.

10. Third-Party Services

Amie may rely on third-party services for hosting, AI infrastructure, SMS delivery, payment processing, analytics, customer support, security, and document generation. Third-party providers may process information as described in our Privacy Policy.

11. Legal Resources

If we display legal resources or law firms, they are provided for general informational purposes only unless otherwise stated in a compliant program. Aparti does not provide legal advice, does not recommend or rank attorneys, and does not guarantee any attorney's services or results.

12. Prohibited Use

You may not use Amie to submit false information, impersonate another person, harass or threaten another person, generate fraudulent documents, evade court rules, violate any law, reverse engineer the service, scrape data, interfere with security, or use the service to provide legal services to others without authorization.

13. Intellectual Property

The Services and their original content, features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Aparti.AI and its licensors. The Services are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws of both the United States and foreign countries.

14. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.

15. Disclaimers, Liability, and Dispute Resolution

The Services are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Aparti.AI and its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, and affiliates are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, use, or goodwill. Additional warranty disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, dispute resolution, arbitration/class-action waiver (if used), governing law, and venue terms are being finalized by counsel and will be posted here.

16. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide reasonable notice prior to any new terms taking effect.
